Behind Maison Craquelin lies a friendship. David and Nicolas, the founders of Maison Craquelin, have known each other since childhood. Having become business partners, they made their bond the starting point for a biscuit house rooted in Provence.
Childhood friends turned business partners
Their entrepreneurial adventure began in 2018 as event caterers. For several years, they supported those gathering for weddings, birthdays, and other unique occasions. Making every moment more beautiful became their profession.
The birth of Maison Craquelin
From this experience arose a simple question: why should these emotional moments be reserved only for big events? In 2021, the founders of Maison Craquelin decided to bring them into everyday life—with family, among friends, or just for oneself. Their ambition: to make simple moments remarkable, too.
Two children of the Mediterranean
Both were born in Provence, by the Mediterranean Sea. This land of sun and culinary traditions nourishes every one of their recipes. It is in La Ciotat, between the sea and the scrubland, that Maison Craquelin found its home base, in a workshop just a stone's throw from the coast.
A shared vision: quality and originality
Natural ingredients, French and as local as possible. Traditional recipes revisited, such as the *navette* or the cookie, to give them a little extra soul. It is this shared standard that has guided the two friends since day one.
