Two childhood friends
This is the story of two childhood friends, David & Nicolas, who became business partners.
They began their entrepreneurial journey in 2018 as event caterers.
For years, they poured all their energy into supporting those who gather together: for a wedding, a birthday, or a unique moment.
This passion for bringing joy and making every moment more beautiful naturally gave birth to Maison Craquelin.
Why not bring what we feel during a grand event into our daily lives?
Why shouldn’t these moments of emotion and pleasure also exist with family, friends… or even just for oneself?
That is why Maison Craquelin was created:
so that simple moments can also become remarkable ones.
At the Mediterranean origins
This eclecticism is something they undoubtedly owe to their origins. Both were born in Provence, on the shores of the Mediterranean. The Mediterranean, mother of civilizations, but also of a vast variety of gastronomic traditions.
A state of mind that guides them, inspires them, and pushes them to transcend borders. The Mediterranean is the land of the sun, of good cheer, of the chirping of cicadas…
And being a cicada, from time to time, in a world of ants, means knowing how to enjoy life.
Influences
With its culinary heritage from many horizons, Provence offers us infinite possibilities, traditional or contemporary, but always full of character.
A nod to our South, to this Provence that thrills us so much.
This generous land, between sea and hills, is brimming with flavours, scents, and traditions passed down from generation to generation.
We draw inspiration from its rich, sometimes forgotten culinary heritage, coming from here and elsewhere: spice markets, childhood sweets, grandmother's recipes, and Italian, Oriental, or maritime influences.
Our recipes blend the legacy of the past with a contemporary vision, simple yet bold.
We seek to capture that true taste, that warmth, that character found in every corner of the Mediterranean.

Home port
It is in La Ciotat, between the sea and the scrubland, that Maison Craquelin has found its home port.
This sun-drenched town, with its gentle accent and deeply rooted history, inspires us every day.
Between the Provençal markets, the scent of pine trees, and the Southern light, everything here encourages us to create biscuits that are simple, authentic, and full of character.
It is in our Ciotaden workshop, just a stone's throw from the Mediterranean, that we handcraft each recipe with patience and passion.
